Tom about the songs . And it worked . Then the test , of course , was getting onstage . So I did a show in Hampton Court , and it
worked . And I ’ ve found that it ’ s saved me now . My music is actually saving me , because that ’ s what I ’ m putting myself into . More than ever . It keeps me busy . It keeps me alive . And it ’ s weird , because , with albums that I ' ve recorded – and I say this onstage – I used to play them to her , of course . And on the last album that I did , there ’ s a song called “ Tomorrow Night ,” which was written by Lonnie Johnson , an old song . And she loved that . But the songs are still – the accent is just different now , that ’ s all . The feeling is still there . And I ’ ve always liked songs like that .
IE : How did you meet Ethan Johns ? You probably knew his dad , producer Glyn Johns ( The Who , Led Zeppelin , Eagles ), from back in the day ?
