THE DEAD MILKMEN Big Lizard in My Backyard( 40th Anniversary)( Giving Groove) The debut album that started it all, way back in 1985. Can you believe this album is celebrating its 40th anniversary!? With classic hits such as " Tiny Town ", " Dean ' s Dream ", and of course, " Bitchin ' Camaro," this is the collection of songs that propelled the Milkmen onto the indie rock scene( for better or worse). Hear what Maximum Rocknroll describes as " 20 satire-laced songs are real crack-ups... backed up by tight playing that incorporates funk, country, and lots of other styles into their punk approach ". In addition to the newly remastered album( pressed on green vinyl), this 40th anniversary edition includes a second disc of neverbefore-heard, straight off the original 8- track, alternate takes of 10 classics( pressed on yellow vinyl). Also included is a brandnew, custom windowed die-cut lenticular cover featuring updated artwork by Dean Clean, a gatefold layout of take-sheets, photos, and posters, and a QR code digital download. The first ever release of The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan as it was originally conceived( the album jettisoned to folk-era stardom), including four tracks that were withdrawn before the album came out:“ Rocks And Gravel,”“ Let Me Die in My Footsteps,”“ Rambling, Gambling Willie” and“ Talking’ John Birch Paranoid Blues.” With the original, never-before-seen liner notes. Today, history repeats itself. Hear the album as Dylan intended.

Celebrate 40 years of“ Take On Me” with eight versions of the iconic track by a-ha, spanning from its 1984 single release to later interpretations.
