t UPTOWN RECORDING in
Chicago, Robert Irving III (Miles
Davis' music director) is in sessions working on a gospel spoken word
project with saxophonist Glenn Burris.
Levi Kries (Tony Award winner for Million
Dollar Quartet) was in session for his new
solo album to be completed for a 2017
release. The mobile audio and video
recording crew at Uptown has been tracking Nonpoint for a planned live album
scheduled to be released in 2017. Chicago
band Audio Content was in the studio
working on their second album, and the
Chris Greene Quartet was tracking a live
follow-up album (and mostly wit hout
headphones), with producer Joe Tortorici.

At BENNET ROAD STUDIOS in Elk
Grove, Cappadonna from Wu Tang Clan
locked out the studio for two weeks working on material for an upcoming album
while prepping for a Wu Tang Chicago
performance.
At RAX TRAX in Chicago, after months
of tracking and refining, Chicago's Distant
Brothers released their new album. The
record was produced and engineered by
studio producer Andy Shoemaker (Saba,
Kid Hartha).
