Obviously, the claim to fame with this band is veteran drummer Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath, Dio) and reliable bassist Rex Brown (Pantera, Down). But the other half, consisting of guitarist Mark Zavon (W.A.S.P.) and singer Dewey Bragg (Pissing Razors), are a vital part of the band as well. Appice, like his brother Carmine, has a distinctive drumming style. He's blessed with a thunderous right foot and a massive left-hand, making him capable of laying down a whole lot of groove. Brown's presence is noticeable, while Zavon's guitar tone and execution is spot on. The diamond in the rough though is Bragg. His emotive, soulful and commanding vocal delivery carries each song with the panache of Layne Staley and the charisma of Ronnie James Dio. Revolution Rise might be a tad bit commercial and has a n
