ately, Australian rocker Andrew Stockdale
can’t help feeling a little bit like Lazarus,
freshly raised from the dead. In 2013, he
unceremoniously laid to rest his Sabbath-sludgy
outfit Wolfmother, after two albums and three
Grammy-equilvant ARIA trophies in its homeland.
A year later, he issued a record that had started as
a band project, “New Crown,” under his own
name, and booked a solo tour of America. But
Wolfmother simply would not stay buried. And it’s
now fully clawed its way out of the grave with a
sledgehammering new effort called Victorious, produced by Pearl Jam/Bruce Springsteen alum
