Pete Berwick's new
album was recorded at
Skye Bleu Studios
Lunar Chiefs
A
t SKYE BLEU STUDIOS in Villa Park,
Cowpunk veteran Pete Berwick
recorded his 12-song album Island.
The album was produced by Jason Botka,
with backing band The Mugshot Saints,
featuring Johnny Gadeikas on bass, and
Luke Smith on drums, including Jennifer
Botka on backing vocals. Jason Botka added
guitars and keys. Berwick told IE, "The early
reviews from media are calling this my best
work. I agree. Mastering is happening as we
speak and will be available December."
At GRAVITY STUDIOS in Chicago Hate
Storm Annihilation's new record was
released on October 31. It was engineered by
Daniel Clayton Farnsworth and mastered by
Doug McBride at Gravity Studios.
At RANGER STUDIOS, Scraps of Brass
booked the showcase stage for a December
15 show. Planned showcases include The
Romeo Brothers and The Redmonds. Also
added Mad Bread and Spinning Red have
confirmed shows in January, with Soul Patch
Monkey also planning a showcase. Prog
rockers Lunar Chiefs recently wrapped up
rehearsal time.
