that have gone back centuries that always intrigue us . Many castles or old chateaus we ’ ve been to have been haunted , and even some places you perceive to be modern . But then you find out that there was an old house there prior to that , so the land itself might be haunted . There are so many things like that out there if you ’ re open to them .
IE : Have you ever accidentally summoned anything truly evil ? CN : It ’ s funny . Ritchie has been doing communications or seances for so long , and whenever I felt fear of something , he ’ s taught me that you just stop communication and say , “ You know what ? I ’ m not dealing with you .” And you just walk away from it . Ritchie often says that it ’ s safer doing seances than going to

IE : Have you ever stayed in truly haunted inns or hotels ? CN : We often say that if the place ISN ’ T haunted , we ’ ll just pack our own ghosts and bring them with us ! So then they can be haunted when we leave there . But we find that every place has a story . There are so many legends and myths and fairy tales , whether tied to a place or a castle or a wooded area . There are so many amazing stories of things

But if you show acknowledgment to something , if there is somebody coming through , they love and feed off of that energy , whether it ’ s positive or negative . And if it ’ s something NOT so positive , NOT so great coming through , and even if it tries to scare you , that ’ s when you go , “ Nope . Stop . I ’ m not dealing with you . I ’ m gonna take a break and just walk away .” It ’ s almost like hanging up a phone . So now I ’ m just completely comfortable with being in the presence

of another realm . I find it comforting , thinking that there ’ s a lot more to this world , you know ?
IE : Curiosity , I think , is the most important thing in life . And maintaining that childlike sense of wonder that gets stomped out of many folks . CN : That ’ s what I always say . If you can still see things through the eyes of a child and have that wonder , that awe , and try to retain some of that innocence ? Isn ’ t that the greatest blessing ? I would never want to be jaded or numb to things . It might be an easier path to try and numb yourself , but I ’ d rather feel the

whole spectrum , that whole rainbow of emotional colors .
IE : And people always like to romanticize the Renaissance era or Middle Ages until they ’ d time-travel back there and go , “ What ? No toilet paper ?” CN : Exactly . We used to say that we love the Renaissance time , but we don ’ t particularly want to go back and deal with the plague . And then ? Coronavirus . And now we can ’ t say that anymore , because it ’ s everywhere .
