COVER STORY:
SANTANTA
Like Supernatural, his 17th studio disc released
in 2000, Corazon is a collaboration of Carlos
Santana and many acclaimed vocalists and musicians. Supernatural sold a whopping 15 million
units and won a record 9 Grammy Awards and 3
Latin Grammys. He is hoping to see the same
worldwide success with Corazon. IE's Bruce Pilato
sat down with the legend.

ICED EARTH
Chevelle has spent nearly 20 years logging minutes and
miles as one of Chicago's best drawing and best selling
bands. In today's music environment, it's what have you
done for me lately. Chevelle is back with a new album, proving their worth all over again.
In underground music circles, Iced Earth is the "Rocky" of US
power metal. Starting from the ground up, the band has gradually built up a steady worldwide fan base. Mastermind and guitarist Jon Schaffer has been the driving force behind the band's
sound and vision since 1985. Kelley Simms has the details.
