CONSOLIDATION OF BISHOPS GATE AND OLD CAROLINA As you may know, we decided to close our Old Carolina campus and consolidate operations at our Bishops Gate campus, in Florida. Our goal is to improve operations, by combining the best of two academies, reduce costs and deliver a better student experience. There are several contributing factors in the timing of this decision but none greater than the Coronavirus disease. We are working in a collaborative manner and taking the necessary steps to ensure IJGA remains the premier junior golf academy. While these steps will mean change and some sacrifice, taken together they offer a vision for lifting IJGA to a higher level, enhancing our ability to create value. There are many benefits derived from the consolidation and IJGA has a bright future. Our goal is to build the best junior golf development program in the world. Bishops 6 Gate is the only junior golf academy with its own golf course onsite. It also has 50,000 square feet of training tee space, 30,000 square feet of putting and short game greens, and 15,000 square feet of bunkers. There is no other golf training environment better equipped to develop junior golfers. We have assembled a world-class coaching team, under the guidance of Gary Gilchrist, Director of Golf. Gary has been named to Golf Magazine’s top 100 teacher in America. Four head coaches, each with an assistant, ensure our student-golfers receive personalized evaluation and instruction. Plans are underway to build a new Performance Center to house the latest technology, such as: Swing Catalyst, TrackMan, 3D Motion Capture and more. This technology, coupled with expert coaches, produces tremendous results.
