IJGA’s Challenge Course
Makes its Debut!
After School Junior Golf Program
will kick-off in September
It’s official. The Challenge Course, Himalayas and
putting green at International Junior Golf Academy’s
(IJGA) Old Carolina are finished are ready for play!
The IJGA coaches, interns, staff and CEO Andrew
Summers christened the course with a round of golf
recently. Reminiscent of St. Andrews of Scotland’s Old
Course, the par-3 Challenge Course, rolling Himalayas
and large putting green will be used for training by the
IJGA Academy student-athletes and the After School
Junior Golf Program
students. Players can
sharpen their short
game skills and play
the course in either
direction for an
added challenge.
The on-site course
is part of the rebirth
of IJGA and campus
transformation
project taking place
at Old Carolina.
IJGA’s on-site
amenities include
the recent $2 million
renovation of the Performance Training Center which
houses the Swing Catalyst 3D Motion Plate & Studio,
indoor hitting bays, indoor chipping and putting
area, recreation center, Functional Strength and
Conditioning Center and FUEL dining hall.
