Boys Division Paul Hautbourg - T3: 74 + 77 for + 7 total Tristin Galant - T3: 79 + 72 for +7 total Aaron Pha - T6: 78 + 75 for +9 total Jantai Malataev - T9: 80 + 75 for +11 total Luis Benetiez - T9: 82 + 73 for + 11 total Girls Division Hyojoon Jang - 1st place: 70 + 67 for - 7 total Jessie Cai - 4th: 81 + 76 for + 13 total Sakurako Tanaka T6: 80 + 85 for +21 total Congrats to Jantai Malataev on receiving an award in Kyrgyzstan! He is now a “Candidate of the Masters of Sport” (specializing in golf), which equates to a nationally ranked player. The award ceremony was on Sunday in Kyrgyzstan and Jantai’s brother, Aziz, accepted this award on Jantai’s behalf. [Photo attached.] From this award, and future wins, he can potentially move up in this athletic classification system to become a “Master of Sport” — which would make him eligible to get monthly scholarship money from their government. If he becomes a “Master of Sport” it equates to a national champion. Congrats Jantai! 25
