Congrats to Jantai Malataev on receiving an
award in Kyrgyzstan! He is now a “Candidate
of the Masters of Sport” (specializing in golf),
which equates to a nationally ranked player.
The award ceremony was on Sunday in
Kyrgyzstan and Jantai’s brother, Aziz, accepted
this award on Jantai’s behalf. [Photo attached.]
From this award, and future wins, he can
potentially move up in this athletic classification
system to become a “Master of Sport” —
which would make him eligible to get monthly
scholarship money from their government. If
he becomes a “Master of Sport” it equates to a
national champion. Congrats Jantai!
