MEET IJGA STUDENT-ATHLETES ZAU SENG MAW Myanmar How did you first become interested in golf? I was in front of my uncle and I missed the ball 3 straight times. I didn’t go home until I hit the ball 10 straight times. I hate sucking at golf. Which ONE golf course would you most like to play and why? Augusta National, because I want to hit shots from where Tiger hits. What is the best advice you have ever received? Think about where your feet are. (Skylar :)) Why did you choose to attend IJGA? I wanted to be better at golf and attend an American high school. Who is your hero and why? Tiger Woods, because he was so dominant and so clutch and that is something I aspire to be in everything I do. What is the best part of playing golf? Chipping it close to the hole and making long putts and watching the ball go in the hole. Who are your favorite PGA Touring Pros? Tiger, Justin Thomas and Justin Rose. What is your biggest accomplishment in golf so far? Breaking 80! What is your favorite part of being an IJGA student-athlete? All my friends and the coaches. What are your goals for the future? Shoot under par or even par consistently. Play Asian & Euro tours. Who is your favorite band or musician? Lady Gaga. Where is the coolest place you have traveled to play or watch golf? Watch = RBC Heritage, Harbour Town on Hilton Head Island, SC Play = Vegas 20 One fun fact about yourself: Don’t like talking to people.
