me with world-class facilities to really hone my game and

Drew Maiorca - Chestnut
Hill College (D2)
Drew Maiorca of Lake Placid,
New York, has committed to
play on the men’s golf team
at Chestnut Hill College
(CHC)
of
Philadelphia,
PA. CHC is a Division II
school and competes in the
Central Atlantic Collegiate
Conference. Maiorca will play for the Griffin’s head coach
Mike Paukovits.
Maiorca’s golf career highlights include a win at Lake Placid
High School Team at the Craig Wood Golf Course 2018, and
second-place finishes at New York High School Section VII
at North Country Golf Club 2018 and New York High School
Section VII at the Barracks Golf Course 2017.
“Drew has really applied himself at IJGA, and as a result is
starting to get his rewards. His speed and ball striking have
increased enormously in his time at IJGA. He is becoming
a very competent golfer as a result,” said IJGA Director of
Golf Jonathan Yarwood.
“It is a true blessing to be able to work with world-class
coaches at IJGA. This is my fifth year at IJGA and I’ve never
seen a more well-rounded, hard working and dedicated
team of coaches. The changes that Jonathan Yarwood has
made at IJGA are truly remarkable and I’m really excited to
see what’s in store for the future,” said Phillips. Beng Keat Lim - Ottawa University (NAIA)
Beng Keat Lim of Malaysia, has committed to play on
the men’s golf team at the Ottawa University (OUAZ) of
Surprise, Arizona. As a newer program, OUAZ is currently
a member of NAIA and they compete in the Golden State
Athletics Conference.
Hoshi Yadav - Holy Names University (D2)
Hoshi Yadav of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, has committed
to play on the men’s golf team at Holy Names University
(HNU) of Oakland, CA. HNU competes in the Pacific West
Conference which is the largest NCAA Division II conference
in the Western region. Yadav
will attend HNU in the fall
of 2019 and play for Hawk’s
head coach Chris Oetinger. Lim’s golf career highlights
include first-place finishes
at the SportsExcel Malaysian
Junior Golf Circuit 2018 Leg
1, Sarawak Chief Minister Cup
