ALUMNI Congratulations to IJGA alumni Laura Restrepo (Class of 2011) on winning the National Women’s Golf Association (NWGA) Dubsdread Golf Course of Orlando, Florida, February 25 - 27, shooting seven under to finish 70-65-68 for the three-day tournament. IJGA alumni Jasmine Chee (Class of 2016) who attends Western Michigan and plays for the women’s golf team, recently took first-place after a playoff during the Low Country Invitational held at Crescent Pointe Golf Club in Bluffton, SC. The Broncos golf team successfully defended their title with Chee celebrating her first collegiate victory by making five birdies and 21 pars over the two rounds. We love when IJGA alumni come back to train and visit with us! Welcome back Lino Galdin, playing for Mercer University and Melany Chong, playing for Appalachian State University. 10 MMUN Director of Education + Development Darcie Patrick recently attended the Montessori Model United Nations (MMUN) expo in New York promoting IJGA’s and BGGA’s Lifestyle Program and Summer Camp opportunities to 1,700 global 6th, 7th and 8th grade students.
