Classroom Curriculum
We use the classroom to expose students to
different topics in applied sport psychology
and the psychology of performance. The
information from these classes allows students
to gain self-awareness and develop a working
competence of knowledge that will help them
not only be more prepared in golf, but also in
life as they pursue college and beyond.
On-Course Individual
As a compliment to the classroom curriculum, a
member of the mental performance team works
on the range and course during training to build
off of each student’s individualized blueprint and
provide support to the training environment.
Tournament Experience
A critical component to increasing performance
and improving scores is to learn more about
how each student responds to competition.
This is the area that we feel is a key part of
blending in facts and creating a plan from
objective understanding. During the course
of each semester, a member from our mental
performance team will help students learn to
prepare, compete and reflect on each tournament
to enhance the quality of training. Attendance at
tournaments will also occur to enhance feedback
to each student where it is most important.
