TRAINING
We strongly believe that understanding and
developing your mental game is the glue which
brings all other elements together. Mental Training
is the space between developing the person and
the golfer.
IJGA’s Mental Performance goals are to help you:
• Perform the best you can
• Improve your mental game
• Have more control in your game
• Perform more consistently
• Build character and sportsmanship
• Overcome your fears
• And have a lot more fun
We use a science and fact-based approach to
identify the friction points to an individual’s
progress and develop a plan to create efficiency
and productivity in those areas. This is done in a
robust and well-coordinated manner consisting of
three critical areas – the classroom, the training
tee and tournament experience. Each of these
areas is guided by the individualized blueprinting
session each student undergoes which combines
information from golf, physical performance and
mental training areas to set the direction for
student development. In addition, the mental
training department also harmonizes with IJGA’s
Character Development program to bridge in life
skills for holistic development.
