• Nearly all Academy and Post Grad students gain university
scholarships to play college golf.
• Although we cannot guarantee this performance, as very
much down to each individual.
• For over twenty years, students from around the world have
come here to learn the same methods that have helped
some of the best players on the PGA and LPGA Tour. Notable
alumni who have attended IJGA include Shanshan Feng, I.K.
Kim, Richy Werenski, Mariajo Uribe, Pablo Larrazabal, Morgan
Hoffmann and many more.
• Although not measurable, our true measure of success is in
developing fine young people, well prepared for life and
college, with strong values and a good golf game, for many
years of enjoyment with friends.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
46 student-athletes
from 16 different countries
International students attending boarding school at IJGA will
be issued an I-20 through Heritage Academy or Hilton Head
Preparatory once the deposit and tuition are paid.
The Heritage English Language Academy provides English as a
Second Language (ESL) instruction to non-native speakers in
grades 7-12 and through a specialized program for high school
graduates. The goal of the Academy is to advance all ESL students
to a level of academic and language proficiency so that they can
function independently in the mainstream college preparatory
classroom setting, or for Post-Graduate students to enter a college
curriculum. A South Carolina standards-based curriculum is
taught in English.
International Post-Graduate students usually attend IJGA on a
tourist visa that is obtained through your country’s embassy.
International Post-Graduate students who are issued an I-20
must be registered full-time with the University of South Carolina
Beaufort.
