THE A-B-Cs OF OUR FALL SEMESTER
Each September , IJGA Bishops Gate hosts a kickoff event for our new junior golfers . The program is designed to help students start the year off with focus , clarity , and energy . More than 90 students – from around the world – participated in this year ’ s program .
Lee-Anne Misseldine , Director of College Placement and Student Progress , explains the value in starting the year off right :
“ THE KICKOFF EVENT IS THE CATALYST TO RESET THE STUDENTS AFTER THE SUMMER AND GET THEM FOCUSED ON THE YEAR AHEAD .
Many of our student-athletes have goals and aspirations to play college golf and eventually play on tour . Several weeks ago , an IJGA alumnus , Richey Werenski , won a PGA Tour event . “ This is what many of our athletes dream of , and our mission is to help them create the blueprint and plan for success to achieve their dreams ,” said Misseldine .
