Introduction to navigation, vehicle modeling, beacon‐based navigation systems. Introduction to
Inertial Sensors and Inertial Navigation. Initial Calibration and Alignment algorithms. Global
Positioning System (GPS). GPS /INS data fusion algorithms. Simultaneous Localization and
Mapping (SLAM), Practical applications of vehicle navigation systems in both structured and
unstructured environments, sensor fusion.
