Coach Specific Training
Coach specific training which is part of a coach training programme:
- home studying,
- reading,
- research,
- writing,
- face-to-face training,
- teleclasses, webinars or teleconference calls delivered live by an IIC&M Accredited Coach and;
- where possible coaching practice, experience and assessment with a more experienced IIC&M Accredited Coach (i.e. a mentor coach)
- where available coaching support through an experienced IIC&M Accredited Coach who can provide Support and/or Supervision.
Please note:
The IIC&M accepts that you may have trained through a single course or through many different courses to gain the hours of coach specific training.
It is preferable that for your APC – Accredited Practitioner Coach (IIC&M) application, the training that you have completed has been through a single training course.
It is accepted that for the other levels of accreditation the coach specific training you have completed will be through multiple courses and workshops.
The coach specific training hours for ASC, AMC and AFC accreditations are aggregate training hours.
e.g. for ASC the 300 hours training is an additional 150 hours over Accredited Practitioner Coach (IIC&M) training requirement.
e.g. for AMC the 45o hours training is an additional 150 hours over Accredited Senior Coach (IIC&M) training requirement and an additional 300 hours over Accredited Practitioner Coach (IIC&M) training requirement.
To support your Coach Specific Training; the following pages detail the Course Agenda and Training Requirements will provide you with more information and confirm whether you are required to submit a copy of all your Training Certificates.
