that; “When the Qur’an is recited listen
to it and be silent, so that you may

food are highly associated
with each other. Although the month
is about abstaining from food, there

in itself and in Ramadhan, feeding a
fasting person is even more rewarding.
The Prophet (SAW) said; “Whoever feeds
the person who is breaking his fast, he
will have his rewards (for his fasting)
without decreasing anything from the

Sisters, Allah (SWT) did not put us at a
disadvantage. He created us perfect,
with much wisdom and precision.
There are many acts of worship
we can still be involved in whilst
in a state of menstruation. By
simply keeping our tongues moist
with the remembrance of Allah (SWT),
(which is quite simple to do) we can
gain rewards like no other. So do not
despair! Do not become distracted.
Even though you may not be able to
pray during this time, wake up during
the last third of the night and raise your
hands in du’a. Ramadhan is a month
with endless rewards and opportunities
to achieve to them. It surely is a blessing
from Allah (SWT) to all. Don’t allow your
menses to keep you back from any of it!
