The usefulness of CBD has captured the public’s imagination, and hemp is becoming mainstream, going far beyond just medical use. People are now switching on to the other Cannabinoids, Terpenes and Flavonoids (CTF) and how they can help our health and wellbeing. Cannabis is now recognised as a functional food which has benefited humans for millennia. The iHemp industry in NZ Aotearoa needs access to this international consumer-led market, in order to create cash flow for our farmers and growers. Our iHemp biomass, grown outdoors in our unique environment could be the next success story for NZ Inc,. Just like the wine industry, we could be a billion dollar business, but in our case it would only take a few short years. This is a great opportunity to enhance New Zealand’s clean green image and sustainable credentials, by allowing companies in Aotearoa NZ to produce and market quality finished hemp products to discerning customers in global niche markets. C hris Woodney of New Zealand Hemp Brokers was recently told to take his 'No Promises Hemp Seed Oil+' products off the market. Why? 1) Because there might be cannabinoids present in the products. 2) The cannabinoids may get into our food chain, or even into animal meat, through animal feed. 16 of New Zealand's finest Hemp CEO's have come together to give support to Chris. This is an extremely confused space for retailers, because on the one hand legislation exists to enable the hemp industry and yet officials are placing road blocks in the way, to deliberately cripple the hemp industry. Do they care how much 1080 is in your food chain? 1080 is deadly, cannabinoids are life. Give generously here 7
