and for three years now has been educating GP’s and health
professionals on the benefits of hemp.
At the GP CME Conference (held in conjunction with the New Zealand
Medical Association) he explained how hemp (low THC) should be
and will soon be, classed as a 'Functional Superfood'. It would follow
then, that ihemp would not fall under the misuse of drugs act. Once
Chris explained ‘why’ the realization sank in.
Most everyone agreed with his simple, yet truthful fact opinion based
on science, history, and common sense.
Chris contracted 27 Hectares of iHemp this year, yielding 20 ton of
seed. The value of biomass Chris and his farmers had to destroy
this year was $5.6 million due to a disabled, trade restrained hemp
industry.
Assuming Chris was able to plant all 20 ton this year and the
government doesn’t get in the way again, next harvest Chris
