“You can get CBD from any GP
if they know
how to prescribe it.”
M
eet Eric Moses, the grandfather of Courtney Letica.
Courtney formed a vision after witnessing first-
hand the benefits and healing properties medicinal
cannabis had for his grandfather.
Eric once suffered the immobilizing and crippling symptoms of
Rheumatoid Arthritis. Through Medicinal Cannabis, Eric was able to get
back on his feet and get stuck in to a life made better.
His inflammation score has gone from 33 to 2 in the space of three
weeks since the daily administration of a balanced ratio of THC:CBD oil.
This technically places his rheumatoid arthritis in remission. CBD is an
antipsychotic and can counter the psychotropic (high) effects of THC
when used simultaneously.

"I started Medleaf
because people in
my family were dying."
C
ourtney Letica, CEO of Medleaf, also witnessed
his terminally ill uncle Gregory Moses be denied
medical cannabis by the Oncology Department
and the DHB.

Uncle Greg was given six months to live with terminal cancer
of the liver and pancreas , which led Courtney to develop an
interest in the body's synergistic effects, and how cannabis
works in parallel with the human endocannabinoid system.
Through extensive research, Courtney found multiple
documented studies alluding to cannabis products being
beneficial for cancer patients, especially those going through
chemotherapy.
At he end of a medical session Courtney attended with his
uncle Greg, he proceeded to ask the doctor if he would apply
for the MoH for full spectrum CBD oil which is high in CBD and
contains no tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).
"The doctors reaction was nothing short of non-compassionate, selfish,
and truly disgraceful," Courtney said.
Uncle Greg was so tired of taking pain medicine with major side effects,
that he began pleading for medical cannabis.
"I saw people that would rather be illegally healed than legally dead
and that didn't silt well with me, so I wanted to do something about it."
Courtney conclues, "My dog was also in need of CBD."
Would you like to try CBD in a lozenge form?
In the Danny Battershill story (on page 31) he mentioned CBD
(Cannabidiol) in a lozenge form and suggested it was liver friendly to
take. Thanks to Courtney's company Medleaf, you are able to now get
some from your doctor, if they are up with the play.
