officials, hemp in animal
food is prohibited
reaction, given the size of our industry and
the work that so many
conscientious farmers are
undertaking to mitigate
and understand these
risks...
This has been done without
any consultation with
industry, nor with having
any understanding of the
consequences for farmers
already in or entering this
market.
No other industry would put up with this and
neither should we!
We encourage members to ring their local
MPs, let them know you
are interested in iHemp
and seek clarification
about the situation
regarding animals and
hemp consumption in
response to the ACVM
announcement. The
Member of Parliament
is obliged to react and
respond to the constituent
and this would put
pressure on ACVM to work
with industry on this matter.
