young kiwi entrepreneurs establish merkaba

Daniel Leishman ( pictured above with the dreadlocks at the iHemp Summit / Expo Rotorua 2021 ). He started his business in 2015 , by selling a hemp oil and handmade bracelets . Now at the iHemp Expo / Summit his brand includes oils and clothing . You may have seen him at the Expo with his partner Amanda Brown , in the photo above .

Daniel and Amanda operate Merkaba , a Hemp Shop in Raglan a seaside village , near Hamilton . Considering hemp / cannabis advertising is banned most everywhere , to stay in business means you need to have people using your products and talking about them , to their friends . And , then return for repeat business . Luckily hemp in all it ' s utility and versatility , is a product which lends itself to that , easily .
After many handmade products , Daniel and Amanda ' s current focus is towards hemp apparel . " New Zealand is moving forward with hemp fibre processing and we want to be at the forefront of the ' New Zealand Hemp ' apparel movement ." Daniel says . They also sell hemp beanies , pants , dresses , shirts and hoodies . We wish them all the best going forward .
