She ’ d been researching hemp as a remedy for the soil on vineyards in Marlborough and as part of that she became increasingly amazed by its goodness not just for the planet but for people . She and her team at Hark & Zander are already busy on the next phase of product development with a hemp-based cleanser due out in August and a toner with a touch of hemp to follow , along with a day crème , a night crème and an eye crème – all hemp based of course .
“ We have a very full six months ahead of us ” said H & Z ’ s project manager with one of those calm expressions that wedding planners don , on the big day to conceal the millions of things they ’ re thinking of when they use the word “ full ”. If the face and body oils are anything to go by , we can ’ t wait to try them all . q
