Plastic pollution is now considered one of the largest environmental threats facing humans and animals globally. Teaching children about environmental protection and wise use of resources is crucial. Children will inherit this planet and the environmental problems humans have caused. With awareness and education, our children may be the ones to solve the great environmental issues facing our planet.
The Ocean Goes to School program is one program educating future generations in classrooms around the world. For the Sea is an educational program which presents an interactive underwater visual experience to engage, educate and motivate future generations. Led by Ziggy Livnat, a National Geographic Explorer and underwater filmmaker, a new movement to reduce single use plastic in the Red Sea #redseaplasticfree is beginning in June.
