Air Brush Alley was again a popular
attraction with artists producing some
amazing work including some super
realistic portraits.
A hands-on traders demonstration area
gave visitors a chance to hone their
customising skills.
The entertainment continued with a
dedicated kids corner and a number of
DJ's playing throughout the day.
A major drawcard at the 2017 event
was the large number of international
special guests.
Best known for his signature fade paint
jobs and custom car builds that have
featured in Blade Runner, Batman, Star
Trek and Mission Impossible, legendary
American custom car builder, painter
and hot rod racer, Gene Winfield, held
meet and greet sessions over the entire
weekend.
Recognised as one of the most talented
automotive painters and fabricators
in the world and appearing in popular
TV shows including Overhaulin' and
Chasing Classic Cars, Charley Hutton
was certainly popular amongst the
crowds.
A highlight for many at the 2017
show was being a part of the live
demonstrations by Jimmy Shine. Jimmy
currently stars in three T V shows
including Hardshine, Weaponizers and
Car Warriors and is renowned for being
one of the worlds top customisers.
With so much on offer and record
crowds in attendance, the Hot Rod and
Custom Auto Expo is a must see for car
enthusiasts.
