Winners in 2018
There were winners a plenty at the Gala Dinner
& Tradeshow events that were held throughout
Australia in 2018.
Capricorn Travel offered a generous $1,000 Capricorn
Travel voucher to one lucky Member at all of the Gala
Dinner & Tradeshow events.
Congratulations to the team at H & V Pearce Pty Ltd
who were announced the winners at the Victoria Gala
Dinner & Tradeshow! Capricorn Area Manager, Simon
Van Merkesteyn, presented the winning voucher to
Andrew Reid who happily accepted on behalf of H &
V Pearce Pty Ltd.
The tradeshow component of the Gala Dinner &
Tradeshow events are always well supported by
Capricorn Preferred Suppliers. Many Preferred
Suppliers put a huge amount of effort into their
booths in hope of being awarded the Best Booth
Award. Congratulations to the team at Grant Walker
Parts on being voted the best booth at the 2018
Victoria Gala Dinner & Tradeshow.
Optimus Prime was recently built by the team at Road Runner
Mechanical Services in Geraldton, Western Australia.
Standing 5 metres high and weighing over 300 kg, Optimus
Prime has become a draw card for the workshop. Fellow
Capricorn Member, Procoat Auto Repainting, helped out by
spray painting the creation.
Optimus Prime was recently unveiled and he is drawing plenty of
attention from everyone including local media, children, families
and customers.
The Road Runner Mechanical Services team built Optimus Prime
in celebration of their 20th year in business. Following their
celebrations, they plan to hand Optimus Prime over to the local
community who will use him as a centrepiece on the waterfront
in Geraldton.
It's fantastic to see Members looking outside the box to promote
their businesses whilst contributing to their local community
at the same time! Congratulations to Road Runner Mechanical
Services on creating Optimus Prime and celebrating their 20th
year in business.
