Silver Bullet

Anthony Norris from Grand Auto Wreckers is a businessman with
a passion for speed . His 2001 Nissan Silvia S15 was imported from Japan in 2009 . Anthony started re-building the S15 to be race ready in 2010 . The interior was stripped to the bare minimum and a full CAMS approved roll cage with log book was fitted so Anthony wasn ' t limited in the events he could enter . The car runs the original 2 litre engine , a Nissan SR20DET , worked by Alan Engineering . Larger cams and a bigger Garret turbo puts out 320kw at the rear wheels . A 5-speed gearbox together with a 4:1 differential and a hydraulic hand braking system for quick application . Anthony ' s racing is mainly self-funded though he does receive assistance from Mark Short , MSR Motorsport , Brenton Caddle , owner of Caddle Crash Repairs and Peter from ULX110 Oil . Anthony has had the opportunity to race at some famous Australian tracks including Phillip Island , Sydney Motorsport Park and Wakefield Park . Anthony also races a custom Datsun 1200 which was in the Improved Production Racing class at the 2016 Clipsal 500 . Anthony races the S15 extensively in hill climb events , recently winning his class . He was also involved in the popular Adelaide Motorsport Festival , taking part in the iconic Adelaide Classic Rally .
