As the journey of MBA comes to a close for some and some reach halfway through it, a tangible aura of apprehension pervades the campus. The question in each heart is the same – what awaits us out there? Though our time here endeavors to equip us with the conceptual arsenal for the corporate blitz, nothing seems to have prepared us for the more important hands-on knowledge than those out there!

The Systems Society (SYSSOC) brings to you IGNITE, the first edition of its bi-annual publication, born and christened to take you through that extra mile, the extra gyaan that is not taught in the classroom. What follows is an insight into what the IT & Operations Management fraternity is up to, the tricks of the trade, the success stories, views and opinions about the latest happenings in these domains and much more. Also, this edition contains gem of advice from the esteemed faculty members of the institute who have come forward to share their experience as they bid us luck for the future.

As we embark on the journey of endless possibilities, we would need a companion to alleviate the apprehensions that arise from a lack of knowledge. IGNITE hopes to be a step in that direction; IGNITE aims to ignite the minds of all knowledge seekers; IGNITE aims at bridging the chasm between the academia and the corporate, the theoretical and the practical, the classroom and the boardroom, concepts and applications, FMS Delhi and The World!

We sincerely hope that IGNITE adds value to the readers and you find it an interesting read.

Wishing you the very best!
