In September 2013 , the province began sharing liquidity with British Columbia for peer-to-peer games such as poker .
Saskatchewan Online gaming is not yet live in the province , but that is set to change .
Last year , the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority announced it will launch online gambling in the province , through a new agreement between the Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations ( FSIN ) and the provincial government .
Under the deal , the FSIN and province will split revenue from the online gambling site , which will include both online casino and sports betting , on a 50 / 50 basis .
The BCLC signed a deal with the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority and SaskGaming in June 2022 , similar to the agreement it has in Manitoba . As a result , the PlayNow platform is set to be available to Saskatchewan players by the end of the year .
New Brunswick , Newfoundland and Labrador , Nova Scotia , and Prince Edward Island These four eastern provinces – each home to less than one million people – pooled together for lottery purposes through multistate monopoly the Atlantic Lottery Corporation ( ALC ).
However , with all four provinces having different regulators and the ability to set their own rules , the games available on the ALC website vary by state . Initially , online casino on the ALC site was available only to residents of New Brunswick , but it also launched in Nova Scotia in July of this year .
However , in both Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador , players can bet on sports and play lottery and bingo , but online casino is not available .
Yukon , Northwest Territories and Nunavut Canada ’ s northernmost and least populous territories are home to only around 40,000 people each . In each one , there are no local online gambling operations , while only the Yukon is home to a land-based casino .
