Georgia commenced online lottery ticket sales in
2012. The Georgia Lottery Corporation offers online
ticket sales for draw games, including Fantasy 5,
Mega Millions and Powerball. The legislature,
meanwhile, is considering legalized sports betting,
and in November 2019 a coalition of Georgia-based
professional sports franchises penned an open letter
in support of legalizing mobile sports betting.

Michigan’s lottery has conducted online sales since
2014. In December 2019, the Senate passed House
Bill 4916, which would allow the state’s three
land-based casinos and tribal venues to operate one
online sports betting platform in addition to retail
wagering, and online gaming bill HB4311.
