Apr 19- Mar 20 to March 2020 marked a rebound from the previous year , when the UK market as a whole rose by less than 1 %. This had followed two 10 %-plus GGY growth years .
But the fluctuation can actually be ascribed to margin in the betting sector . As can be seen from the betting turnover figures ( Chart 2 on the next page ), turnover rose in the year April 2018-March 2019 by 2.4 % only to fall by 4.3 % in the subsequent year .
