Fraud in igaming typically includes bonus hunting , financial fraud , affiliate fraud and internal fraud . At PIN-UP , I built a large team of analysts to handle various fraud types . We noticed a growing need to reduce routine tasks while complex issues increased and available tools fell short . This prompted us to develop an anti-fraud tool for internal use , which evolved into Frogo .

The idea of bringing Frogo to market came after potential partners raised concerns about risk management and fraud investigations in their companies . We discovered that not all businesses thoroughly investigate fraud , leading to considerable losses . This insight inspired us to transform Frogo into a platform for external clients as well .

STRENGTHS AND INNOVATIONS
We provide comprehensive real-time risk scoring for transactions , partners and players , with over 98 % of withdrawal decisions automated . Our system adapts to changing traffic patterns , adjusting alert thresholds accordingly .
We utilise machine learning models to monitor customer behaviour , enabling analysts to focus on complex cases and identifying subtle patterns that assist in fraud detection . Frogo , which has been operational for eight months , features an AI-powered sportsbook fraud prediction model which analyses betting patterns , achieving an average daily precision of 95.7 %, recall of 92.8 %, and an F1-score of 94.3 %. This allows us to detect 93-97 % of fraudulent accounts while reviewing less than 1 % of users .
Previously , at PIN-UP , fraud account cohort had a negative lifetime value ( LTV ) of - $ 21 . Now , we ’ ve improved this to a positive LTV of $ 47 , successfully preventing most fraudsters from withdrawing funds , which has turned into profit for us .
