A growing theme within the listed affiliate sector – at least with Raketech and Acroud – is the rising importance of affiliation as a service and the provision of affiliate platforms .

At Raketech , the company showed that its networks and Affiliation Cloud offerings generated revenues of € 3m or 25 % of the total of € 13m , up from € 2m in the same period last year .

“ It ’ s our fastest growing area , chief executive Oskar Mühlbach told analysts on the third quarter earnings call . He noted that the customers of the offerings were either affiliates or operators .

“ The margins are naturally lower but the risk is also lower as we don ’ t have to invest in products ,” he added .

He said that Affiliation Cloud has 20 clients at present and more waiting to be onboarded . The only issue with the business was capacity constraints . “ We currently cannot onboard as many customers as we hoped ,” he added . “ We are doing everything we can to speed this up and accelerate this opportunity .”

QUALITY CONTROL

As for the rest of the business , revenues have been growing as the market moves more towards high-quality products , Mühlbach suggested . “ We believe we have what it takes to increase the distance to the competition ,” he said of sites such as CasinoFeber , SlotJava and CasinoGuide .
