Industry outlook
Overall, operators continue to be confident in the future of the gambling and affiliate industries for
the next five years, however, higher levels of confidence attributed to the gambling sector and year
on year decrease in confidence for the affiliate industry
• Expansion into new/emerging markets (i.e. opening of the US), changes in the regulatory
framework (with compliance seen as potential key differentiation factor) and online/mobile
gaming seen as key industry opportunities
• Regulatory challenges (i.e. dot.country markets, EU directives) considered key challenges
