Appointments , departures and returning heroes
In the igaming affiliate industry , there have been a few noticeable announcements when it comes to people culture and hiring .
Top of that list is Raketech co-founder Johan Svensson being reappointed as the company ’ s CEO . Svensson took over the reins on an interim basis in January when Oskar Mühlbach departed over strategic differences with the board . Svensson , who co-founded Raketech with Erik Skarp in 2010 as a Scandinavian poker affiliate , returns to the top job after a seven-year hiatus , having transitioned in 2017 from
CEO to CCO . Raketech chairman Ulrik Bengtsson said the board was “ excited ” to officially announce the reappointment .
Over at TrafficLab , CEO Sebastian Agerskov stepped down earlier this year and was replaced by Peter Gunni . Agerskov ’ s decision stemmed from his work-life balance , as he wanted to prioritise his family and health . No announcement regarding a new role was made , although the statement from the affiliate noted that he ’ ll be on the lookout for new opportunities that he can get “ hands-on with ”.
New CEO Gunni has worked at the affiliate since 2017 . He started with the company in the marketing department before becoming CMO .
Catena Media announced the appointment of Michael Gerrow as group CFO and Edward Midolo as CTO as it restructured its leadership group . Gerrow , who joined in 2020 , is also now part of the affiliate ’ s executive management team . Midolo was previously VP of systems technology at the affiliate company , having joined as head of technical operations back in 2018 .
