Where other operators pedal the same old products,
the Unibet Group continues its gaming revolution
with the launch of a brand new Bingo client
The late Steve Jobs once said that,
“Innovation distinguishes between
a leader and a follower.” It’s a great
quote, but achieving innovation
in a marketplace as crowded as
iGaming is a challenge which all of
us – whether operators, suppliers
or affiliates – share.
Much of the current discourse
on the subject in our industry
seems to focus on finding
‘the next big thing’ by fusing
ostensibly complementary
product groups together. Adding
gamification and social features
to traditional gambling products
– or on the flipside the so-called
‘gamblification’ of related products
such as fantasy sports or video
games – are hot topics, and not
without justification.
However, if we accept that the
major popular and profitable
product areas remain (as they
have done since our industry’s
inception) Sportsbook, Casino,
Poker and Bingo, there seems
to have been surprisingly little
discussion about innovation and
