GanaEight Coin Limited’s new joint CEOs discuss their roles in the upcoming
release of G8C and give further information about the ICO itself
Following its announcement of the release of new
ICO G8C, GanaEight Coin Limited has revealed
news of the appointment of co-CEOs Hayato Terai
and Dr Kristina Deguara to front the Ganapati PLC
subsidiary company. Part of the Ganapati Group,
GanaEight Coin Limited will issue the G8C tokens
to be used in online casinos, as well as engage in
the ICO’s practical affairs. The teaming up of Terai
and Deguara is a strategic one: both qualified
lawyers, in Japan and Malta respectively, the duo
will work together to achieve compliance with
both countries’ legislation in creating the company’s
new cryptocurrency.
Hayato Terai began as an attorney
in 1998 in Tokyo and established his
own law office in 2005. He is CLO
of Ganapati PLC, Ganapati (Malta)
Limited, GPJ Venture Capital, Director
of Ganapati Malta Holding Limited and
Co-CEO of GanaEight Coin Limited.
Dr Kristina Deguara graduated
University of Malta as Doctor of Laws
in 2013. She is an in-house lawyer.
She is CAO of Ganapati (Malta) Limited
and Co-CEO of GanaEight Coin Limited.
Tell us about your new venture, G8C, and its features.
Kristina Deguara: Opening GanaEight Coin Limited and launching
G8C in Malta seemed like the obvious choice as it is the place to be for
both online casino and cryptocurrency businesses. Given the recent
passing of Malta’s cryptocurrency regulation, the timing of our launch
couldn’t be better. Malta has always been at the forefront of trade – the
country had the first regulated online casino market in the world. Now
with this recent development in cryptocurrency regulation, we really are
leading the way to this fast-approaching digital financial world.
Hayato Terai: The G8C token itself is specifically designed for use
in online casinos. Its biggest feature is that it can be used on its own
blockchain to bet and play, which is currently in development. It
doesn’t require GAS and tokens do not need to be exchanged for chips.
Ethereum and Bitcoin can be used to purchase G8C.
What are the merits of using G8C?
KD: The main benefit is its complete transparency. Blockchain
technology offers an in-permutable distributed ledger which allows
players to verify all bets and see for themselves that the game they are

playing is fair. This, as well as the ability to keep
playing offline, gives the player a unique sense of
trust in our content.
HT: As well as this, since you are playing within the
same network, ultimately there are no acquisition
or conversion costs. Using G8C makes for a quick,
light, fun game.
Why do you think online casino operators will
use your original platform?
HT: We’re an existing supplier with already
strong ties with many global operators. Giving
operators a retention tool that also increases the
trust factor with their clients, plus the improving
ROI percentage as CPA costs are reduced, will make us the partner of
choice for many. We already have many interested parties and expect to
become the market leader in no time thanks to our unique features.
You recently met with the prime minister of Malta, Joseph Muscat.
What were his views on the rise of cryptocurrency in Malta and G8C?
HT: Joseph Muscat gave us his complete support, which is fantastic.
He expressed his excitement for our ICO development and for us
choosing to do so in Malta. The fact that we are taking local legislation
very seriously in what we do – right the way down to the hiring of a
local lawyer as CEO – pleased him greatly.
KD: Due to the up-and-coming nature of cryptocurrency in Malta, the
PM was more than happy to get on board. He is looking forward to
our ICO’s launch and is proud that Malta is at the centre of all the hype.
He also gave us some sound advice, telling us that the best thing we can
do is choose our people wisely and to make sure they are well-versed
in what they are doing. I was happy to confirm that we are already
doing so: getting the right people on board, and keeping them, is of
great importance to Ganapati.
