doctor hovering over her. The doctor was speaking but she couldn't hear him. Mary used sign language to try to tell him she had a difficulty in hearing and thankfully the doctor understood and brought in Mary's parents. After talking with her parents in sign language, they understood that she was the one who was to blame for the accident, as she was too anxious and didn't check her surroundings. As soon as her parents got out of the room and left Mary to rest, the young man who had hit her with his car approached them and started apologizing immediately. He said he really didn't mean to cause her any harm and that it truly was an accident. He was practically pleading for forgiveness when her parents told him to stop apologizing. Mary's mom said that they had talked with their daughter and she had told them that she didn't know where she was going and wasn't looking around. Her dad added that Mary had been stressed and nervous these last few days and that he didn't need to be worried as they
