Ashley Sara DeKam is passionate about people. She simply loves
to bless others. More than that, she seeks to heal others as
well. Whether those blessings or restorations take place through
her words, actions, or spirit, her effort and ability to touch others is
simply a part of who she is. She has a way with words. The
written Word is both her inspiration and her favor. The Word
feeds her she nurtures others. She knows food. Her relationship
with food is both vast and intimate. She knows the chemistry of
food, she knows the art of food, and she oh so knows the emotion
of food. She adores food and yet she grieves it. Her goal, though,
is to respect food for what it is – nourishment. She pursues
health. Physical, emotional, spiritual well-being is a constant
journey and Craving4More.
Sally Deskins is an artist, art writer and writer. Her art has been
exhibited in galleries in Omaha, New York, Philadelphia,
Charleston, Pittsburgh, Ohio and Chicago; and has been published
in publications such as Certain Circuits, Weave Magazine, and
Painters & Poets. She has curated various solo and group
exhibitions, readings and performances centered on women’s
perspective and the body. Her first illustrated book Intimates &
Fools, with poetry by Laura Madeline Wiseman, was published in

Patricia George has worked as a public school teacher and a tutor.
She works as a piano accompanist for the local school choirs. She
writes in all her spare time and paints in the summer when school
is out. She has a B.A. degree from Fresno State University in
California and has postgraduate credits from San Diego State
University and Colorado State University.
