24 HOUR CODING COMPETITION

EEEXtreme is a global challenge
in which teams of IEEE student
members compete in a 24 hour
me span against each other to solve a set of programming problems.
All the par cipants of the IEEEXtreme coding compe on
were supported by providing necessary facili es.
More than ten teams from the University of Peradeniya
competed in IEEEXtreme this year. Contestants arrived at the
top floor of the computer center at 5.30 A.M on the 20th of
October and they coded un l 5.30 A.M next morning.
Two of the teams were able to secure 2nd and 10th
posi ons in the IEEEXtreme Sri lanka leaderboard.
