EveryAI - The evolution of
machine learning

LEARNING
One of the most basic properties of any living organism has
been leaning.learning from life, incidents, books, internet
and almost every possible resource in this universe. An
infant starts learning from its family, surroundings, society
implying that the kind of person one becomes is highly
impacted by the environment so it’s the responsibility of
parents to provide that kind of setup for their child.
MACHINES The most lucid way we can understand machines is that machines use power to
apply forces and control movement to perform an intended action but modern day machines
aren’t limited to that. New age machines are much more smarter still it’s us humans who design
them so there’s no point in being afraid of an AI - Apocalypse (checkout The Terminator if you
haven’t yet) implying the machines to become self-aware and decide to take over humanity but
if you look closely to the definition of machines you’ll notice that it’s us humans who provides
them with that power so just like the case with an infant, we the humans are the guiding
elements to these machines,so does it imply that its humans who’ll bring the evil power into
existence? Let’s dig in to find out.
THE EVOLUTION
Phase1- Rule Based
This was the era of controlled programs that were just limited to
controlled conditions and few situations like those involving where the
processing and execution has certain limitations or we can say the
outcome can be calculated or was finite, the best example being the all
time wistful snake game.
Phase2- Analysis Based
Analysis involves use of heuristic approach means enabling
a person to discover or learn something for themselves. In
such cases we give the machines certain task and based on
the available data we ask them to find most optimal solution
for it. One of the most renowned application of this concept
is Google maps
