IEC Partnerships and Alliances

The Mobile Studio Project

Resulted in the development of technology-based pedagogy and inexpensive hardware/software which, when connected to a PC, provides functionality similar to that of lab equipment typically associated with an instrumented studio classroom.

The NSF HBCU ECP Program

Increased the number of highly qualified and prepared African American engineers while providing a better understanding of technology and its role in STEM education. Resulted in the implementation of ECP in over 40 courses involving circuits and electronics.

Smart Cities REU/RET Program

The program trains students and teachers in a variety of cutting-edge technologies related to research in Smart and Connected Cities. Participants work side-by-side with researchers across multiple institutions.

Supporting Organizations

The Inclusive Engineering Foundation (IEF) is dedicated to increasing diversity in engineering by fostering and funding programs that increase the quantity and quality of African American, Hispanic, Asian and Native American engineering graduates with an additional emphasis on gender diversity.
