VISITS TO IDRF FUNDED PROGRAMS BY BOARD MEMBERS
IDRF has active Board members and highly involved donors/supporters, who have taken time out of their busy
schedules to visit various IDRF funded programs within India in 2014. In addition to providing a monitoring
mechanism, these visits have provided feedback and observations, which IDRF follows‐up on as part of its
execution going forward. Some of these visits have been highlighted below:
G. R Verma: Visited three educational institutions in Rajasthan:
Swami Keshwanand Smriti Charitable Trust in Sangaria, Maharishi Dayanand Mahila Shikshan Sansthan Samiti
in Jhunjhunu and Grameen Mahila Sikshan Sansthan in Sikar. Progress Report from Maharishi Dayanand Mahila
Shikshan Sansthan Samiti show that, IDRF has provided valuable direction and dynamic leadership that has
enabled them to provide quality education to girls from the villages of Rajasthan. Dr. Verma who has been
visiting these institutions every year is very pleased with the overall progress of these institutions and the girls
supported by IDRF.
