Football unifies the cultures within the nation of Brazil. It is something that everyone can participate in and celebrate together. FIFA is truely a gloabl ritual that follows the same rules that do not change. This overall intends to satify international audiences bringing certan kinds of meanings in the lives of individuals. Emotions are built by spectatorship of matches as heros rise,inspiration grows, and dreams are constructed with each passing minute.

Psychologist

Along with the immense passion for football that an individual holds comes effects that could be considered as positive and negative.The passion of the supporters is volatile and vulnerable and sometimes it gives ways to violence. Due to the hysteria that these games cause, individuals feel that they must join bandwagons in order too fit into this glabal phenomenon. The connection with the team supported and its players are so strong that when their team loses, some fans may suffer from symptoms of post-traumatic stress or depression. Similarly, if the team wins, there is a state of transient euphoria. This personal high or low may sometimes adversely affect the health of the fan and the endorphin which is released may even have the potential for causing addiction. Football brings out the primeval tribal tendencies reminding the fans of the psychological significance of a being a part of an in-group, developing a strong sense of identity and understanding themselves.
