At the age of 4 years old Molly Burke was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa which caused her to lose her vision. Molly completely lost her vision when she was 14. Losing her vision didn’t stop her from doing anything, instead of just giving up because she lost her vision, she only became stronger and more confident. She started publicly speaking at the age of 5 for The Foundation Fighting Blindness Canada. She worked with activists like Martin Luther King III and many big celebrities like Demi Lovato, Macklemore, Martin Sheen and Magic Johnson. Molly received an award for Oakville YMCA Peace Award for outstanding contributions towards developing understand in the community. Her goals are to educate, motivate and inspire others to find peace, happiness and achieve their goals, even in the darkest days.
