My act of kindness was...
My Pay It Forward act of kindness was me donating clothes. I chose to do this activity because I know that not a lot of people can afford winter clothes such as, socks, gloves, scarves, jackets, ski pants, etc. and I thought that it would be a great idea for this project. I donated the clothes to Salvation Army on January 3rd of 2016.
My experience
Donating the clothes went great! When we got there no one was really in the store and then this guy came out and said that the store was closed today and we then we asked if we could just donate the clothes and maybe get a picture with him for a school project, he wasn’t allowed to take pictures so we just asked if we could take a picture in front of the store and he was like, “yeah.” So we did and that was basically it. We gave the clothes to him after.
Doing something kind like that made me feel nice, it made my heart warm knowing that I did something that can help people and I’m really proud of myself.
We never really got to TELL him to pay it forward but we told him all about the project and I hope he does something kind back to other people.
